Sue the Spammers!
California government has passed a legislation to prohibit internet advertisers from sending unsolicited emails (spams) under the toughest law of its kind in USA, with fines upto $1 million!!
Good start. What really puzzles me is that how do they plan to implement it. For this law to be of any value, the source and destination needs to be identified. And in a virtual world, that becomes very debatable.
