Oracle takes over Peoplesoft

finally after 18 months, Oracle takes over Peoplesoft, albeit at a higher price than I think it is actually worth. It would pay off though in the long run. So many mergers(sears-kmart, cingular-att, sprint-nextel). Smaller players merging to compete with the bigger one.
